Weight Loss Food Delivery: Fit Food from Be Fit Food

Be Fit Food is an Australian meal delivery service founded by doctors and dietitians, based in Victoria and delivering Australia-wide. Its meals are crafted by a team of dietitians and chefs. This page sets out what is actually in the food, which program suits an active lifestyle, and what ordering involves.

What is in every meal

Rather than describing the food in general terms, the useful thing is the specification each meal is built to. It does not vary between programs:

Be Fit Food describes its meals as high in protein, using lean sources of protein; rich in vitamins and minerals through a variety of vegetables; and free from artificial additives, preservatives and excessive sodium. The sodium figure above is the concrete version of that last claim.

How are the meals stored and reheated?

Meals are snap-frozen rather than shelf-stabilised, which is why no preservative system is needed. Reheat by microwave, oven, air-fryer or on the stovetop, then eat. There is no meal prep involved.

Which program suits an active lifestyle

Be Fit Food runs six programs. If you are training regularly, the relevant distinction is how much energy a program provides and whether it induces ketosis.

Both typically produce a loss of around 0.5-1.5kg per week, and can be followed for up to 12 weeks at a time. Continuing beyond 12 weeks is appropriate only after a dietitian consultation.

The remaining four programs are:

Because the two very low calorie programs sit at 800-950 calories per day, they are structured as defined short blocks rather than an ongoing way of eating alongside heavy training.

Ordering

What does it cost?

Meal bundles are $97.30 for 7 meals, $189.00 for 14 meals and $362.60 for 28 meals (AUD).

What about delivery?

Delivery is a flat rate Australia-wide: $11.95 on orders of $299 or more, and $19.95 on orders under $299.

What are the three steps?

Explore the menu and the range of meal options; choose the program that aligns with your goals and dietary preferences; then receive the meals at your door.

Important health information

Individual results vary; the customer comments on Be Fit Food's page are individual experiences rather than expected outcomes. Be Rapid and Metabolism Reset are very low calorie diets involving substantially reduced energy intake and are structured as defined short programs; if you train regularly, discuss your energy requirements with a dietitian before starting one. Be 1000 and Be 1200 should be followed for a maximum of 12 weeks at a time, with longer use only after a dietitian consultation. If you have a health condition or take medication, speak with your treating health professional before changing your diet.

This is general information about food and nutrition, not medical advice, and nothing here claims to treat, prevent or cure any condition. Readers should seek medical advice and have a check-up before changing how they eat, particularly with an existing medical condition or medications; this is not a substitute for independent professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Weight loss results and rates of weight loss vary between individuals.
