Set Weight Loss Programs and Pre-Selected Boxes

This collection holds the fixed, pre-selected boxes. In the words of the page, Be Fit Food has made it quick and easy to try its weight loss programs and healthy meal bundles by creating fixed boxes of favourite meals, plus boxes to suit particular dietary requirements. The point of difference from building your own order is that the contents are decided in advance: you choose the box, not the individual meals.

Two product types in this collection

The collection is made up of Reset programs, which cover a set run of days, and meal bundles, which are a set count of individual meals. Everything listed is a Pre-Selected Box. At the time this page was captured, every item carries a Restocking Soon label.

The Continental boxes sit at a lower price than the other 7 and 14 day boxes and are described as suiting a continental-style approach. The Gluten Free Reset boxes are described as designed for people seeking a low-carb, high-protein and nutritionally balanced program, and the Vegetarian Reset boxes for people wanting the same low-carb, high-protein approach without meat.

The Favourites boxes are a pre-selected collection of the most-loved meals. The Vegetarian boxes are a handpicked selection of plant-based meals, and the Gluten Free boxes a handpicked selection of gluten-free meals. Bundle prices are the standard Be Fit Food bundle rates: $97.30 for 7 meals, $189.00 for 14 meals and $362.60 for 28 meals, which works out the same per meal at each size.

Which dietary need each box serves

Three of the four labels describe who the box is for. Vegetarian boxes exclude meat. Gluten Free boxes are made up of gluten-free meals. Favourites carries no dietary restriction and is simply the most popular selection. Continental describes the breakfast component of the Reset box rather than a dietary need. No other dietary property should be assumed from these labels; if you have a specific requirement, check with a Be Fit Food dietitian before ordering.

The meal specification behind every box

Whichever box you choose, the meals inside are built to one specification:

• approximately 250 calories per meal
• 20g or more of protein
• under 20g of carbohydrates
• under 120mg of sodium per 100g
• no added sugar, no artificial sweeteners, no preservatives

The meals are snap-frozen rather than shelf-stabilised, and reheat in a microwave, oven, air-fryer or on the stovetop.

How the set boxes map to the programs

These fixed boxes are the packaged way of running the Be Fit Food programs:

• Be Rapid - a very low calorie diet at around 800-900 calories a day, run as a 7-day reset, which induces mild nutritional ketosis.
• Metabolism Reset - a very low calorie diet at around 850-950 calories a day with 40-70g of carbohydrate a day, over 7, 14 or 28 days, which also induces mild nutritional ketosis.
• Be 1000 - around 1000-1200 calories a day for gradual weight loss or holding a loss; unlikely to induce ketosis.
• Be 1200 - around 1200-1500 calories a day for slower loss and weight management with an active lifestyle or HIIT training; also unlikely to induce ketosis.
• Intermittent Fasting Program - 4 weeks, with 5 days of healthy eating and 2 fasting days at 500-600 calories; it provides 8 days of food, being 16 lunch and dinner meals plus a pack of 8 protein balls.
• Be Maintenance - 4 weeks, 24 meals and 14 snacks, with two lower-calorie days a week at around 800 calories.

On Be 1000 and Be 1200 the expected rate of loss is about 0.5-1.5kg a week, and you can stay on either program for up to 12 weeks at a time, with longer periods only after a dietitian consultation.
