Meal Delivery Dates and Cut-Off Times
The full route-by-route schedule is set out below. This section explains how the schedule works, so you can find your answer without reading every table.
Two rules cover the whole schedule
Every cut-off in the entire schedule follows the same two rules:
- The cut-off time is always 8:00am AEDST. There are no exceptions anywhere in the schedule.
- The cut-off day is always either Monday or Wednesday. No other day is ever a cut-off.
What varies by route is only which delivery days exist, and which of the two cut-off days feeds each one. So the practical question is never "what time?" — it is always "which of Monday or Wednesday, and for which delivery day?"
States and territories covered
Routes are listed for Victoria, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania and Darwin.
How much choice you have depends on your route
Delivery frequency varies enormously between metropolitan and regional routes. Some examples from the schedule:
- Five delivery days per week: Melbourne Metro, Mornington Peninsula and Yarra Ranges (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday); Geelong; Shepparton; Sydney Metro and Sydney Regional; Canberra Metro; Brisbane Metro.
- A single delivery day per week: Mudgee (Monday only); Bathurst, Forbes and Lithgow (Saturday only); Goulburn (Saturday only); Canberra Regional (Friday only); Adelaide Regional (Friday only); Renmark (Saturday only); Lismore (Saturday only); Toowoomba 2 and Toowoomba 3 (Monday only); Hobart and Hobart Regional (Saturday only); Perth Metro and Perth 2 (Tuesday only).
If you are on a single-delivery-day route, missing the cut-off costs you a full week, not a day or two. That is the case where ordering early genuinely matters.
Routes with a following-week lead time
Three routes in the schedule deliver in the week after the cut-off rather than the same week. Plan these with an extra week of buffer:
- Jimboomba and Kingaroy (QLD) — order by 8:00am Wednesday for delivery the following Wednesday.
- Perth 3 (WA) — order by 8:00am Wednesday for delivery the following Saturday.
- Darwin Metro and Darwin Regional — order by 8:00am Monday for delivery the following Monday.
Common questions
How do I find my route?
Routes are named by region rather than postcode in this schedule. If your locality is not listed by name, check the delivery postcodes page, or confirm with customer service before placing an order that depends on a particular date.
What if I miss the cut-off?
The order moves to the next available delivery run on your route. On a five-day route this is a short delay; on a single-day route it is a week.
Do public holidays change these times?
Cut-offs can shift around public holidays, because a holiday removes a working day from the transport route and the schedule has to compress. Check for a holiday cut-off notice before ordering in a holiday week rather than assuming the standing schedule applies.
Does the time zone matter?
Yes. Every cut-off is stated in AEDST. If you are ordering from Western Australia, the Northern Territory, Queensland or South Australia, convert 8:00am AEDST to your own local time before assuming you have made the deadline.
What happens to the food between dispatch and delivery?
Be Fit Food meals are snap-frozen rather than shelf-stabilised, which is what makes long-lead regional and interstate routes workable. On arrival they go into your freezer and are reheated in a microwave, oven, air-fryer or on the stovetop when needed.
A practical strategy for long-lead routes
If you are on a route with one delivery day per week or a following-week lead time, order in larger blocks rather than weekly. Bundles are priced at $97.30 for 7 meals, $189.00 for 14 meals and $362.60 for 28 meals (AUD). Delivery is a flat rate Australia-wide: $11.95 on orders of $299 or more, and $19.95 on orders under $299 — so a 28-meal order crosses the threshold into the lower delivery rate, and fewer orders means fewer chances to miss a cut-off.

Important note
Delivery schedules are subject to change and may be affected by public holidays, weather and transport conditions. The route tables on this page are the authoritative source for standing cut-offs; confirm directly with customer service before placing any order where the delivery date is critical, such as when you are running low on food part-way through a program.
If something goes wrong with a delivery
Frozen food has a failure mode that dry goods do not, so it is worth knowing in advance what to do rather than working it out with a warm box on the doorstep.
The box arrives and the meals are not frozen solid
Do not refreeze meals that have fully thawed, and do not judge safety by smell or appearance. Photograph the box, the meals and the packaging including any ice bricks, note the time it arrived, and contact customer service the same day on 1300 263 257 or support@befitfood.com.au. Photographs taken at the time are what make a claim straightforward; a report made two days later is much harder to resolve for everyone involved.
Partially softened is a different situation from fully thawed, and it is worth describing accurately rather than guessing. Customer service can advise on whether a particular delivery is still fit to use.
Nobody is home when it arrives
Deliveries are generally left unattended, which is why the insulated packaging and ice bricks matter. The practical implication is that the clock starts when the box is dropped, not when you get home. If you will be out all day on your delivery day, arrange for someone to bring it in, choose a shaded and secure drop location, or move the order to a day you will be there. In summer this is the single most common cause of a thawed delivery.
Your address or delivery day needs to change
Changes must be made before the cut-off for that week's run. After the cut-off the order is already allocated to a route and generally cannot be redirected. If you are moving house, check that the new postcode is on a serviced route before assuming the order will simply follow you — coverage and delivery day both vary by zone.
Part of the order is missing or damaged
Check the order against the packing list on arrival rather than at the end of the week. Report shortages or damage with photographs through customer service. Keep the packaging until the matter is resolved.
Public holidays and the weeks around them
Public holidays shift runs, and the effect is not limited to the holiday itself — the cut-off for the affected week usually moves earlier as well. December and January are the most disrupted period of the year. If you rely on the meals rather than treating them as a convenience, order earlier than usual in those weeks and confirm the schedule rather than assuming the normal pattern holds.
Planning around the lead time
The most common avoidable problem is running out. Work backwards from your delivery day: if your route has a following-week lead time, the order you place today is food for the week after next. Keeping two or three meals in reserve absorbs a missed cut-off without leaving you without options, and is considerably easier than trying to expedite a frozen delivery.
