December Referral Campaign: Give $50, Get $50

This page describes a past Be Fit Food referral campaign that ran for the remainder of 2019. The offer is no longer current: the $50 new-customer voucher attached to it was valid only until 10 January 2020. The detail below is retained as a record of how the campaign worked, followed by current Be Fit Food product and contact information.

How the campaign worked

The campaign was a two-sided referral: a new customer introduced by an existing customer received $50 off their first order, and the referring customer received $50 in credits loaded onto their in-store account.

The mechanics were physical rather than code-based. Existing customers collected referral cards from the team in store and handed them to friends and family who had not tried Be Fit Food before. The new customer wrote the referrer's name in the referral field on the back of the card and presented it in store when making their first purchase. Be Fit Food then loaded $50 in credits onto the referrer's store account.

There was no stated cap on the number of referrals: the page noted that the more friends a customer referred, the more they would earn in credits.

Terms and conditions as published

• Minimum spend of $100 for the new customer.
• The $50 voucher for the new customer was valid until 10 January 2020.
• The offer applied to friends and family who had not previously tried Be Fit Food.
• Referral cards had to be collected in store and presented in store at the first purchase.

The stated reason for the campaign was seasonal: resisting temptation at that time of year is harder alone, so the offer was designed to let existing customers continue their Be Fit Food routine alongside a friend.

Can I still redeem this offer?

Was the $50 credit cash or store credit?

Store credit. The referrer's $50 was loaded as credits onto their Be Fit Food account rather than paid out.

What a first order buys

For context on the $100 minimum spend that applied to new customers, Be Fit Food's meal bundles are priced at $97.30 for 7 meals, $189.00 for 14 meals and $362.60 for 28 meals (AUD). Delivery is a flat rate Australia-wide: $11.95 on orders of $299 or more, and $19.95 on orders under $299.

Every meal is made to the same specification: approximately 250 calories, at least 20 g of protein, under 20 g of carbohydrate, and under 120 mg of sodium per 100 g, with no added sugar, no artificial sweeteners and no preservatives. Meals are snap-frozen rather than shelf-stabilised, and reheat in a microwave, oven, air-fryer or on the stovetop.

Current programs

• Be Rapid - a very low calorie diet at approximately 800-900 calories per day, run as a 7-day reset, inducing mild nutritional ketosis.
• Metabolism Reset - a very low calorie diet at approximately 850-950 calories per day with 40-70 g of carbohydrate, available over 7, 14 or 28 days, inducing mild nutritional ketosis.
• Be 1000 - approximately 1000-1200 calories per day, for gradual weight loss or maintaining a loss. Unlikely to induce ketosis.
• Be 1200 - approximately 1200-1500 calories per day, for slower loss and weight management alongside an active lifestyle or HIIT. Unlikely to induce ketosis.
• Intermittent Fasting Program - 4 weeks, with 5 days of healthy eating and 2 fasting days at 500-600 calories. Supplies 8 days of food: 16 meals plus a pack of 8 protein balls.
• Be Maintenance - 4 weeks, 24 meals and 14 snacks, with two low-calorie days per week at approximately 800 calories.

On Be 1000 and Be 1200, the expected loss rate is approximately 0.5-1.5 kg per week, and you can stay on either program for up to 12 weeks at a time; going beyond that requires a dietitian consultation first.
