Be Fit Food Membership Programs: Dietitian Annual Program

This page covers Be Fit Food's Dietitian Annual Program, also described as the Weight Management & Healthy Living Program. It is a dietitian membership rather than a meal program, and it is available whether or not you live in Australia: as the page states, if you are not living in Australia you can still take advantage of Be Fit Food's accredited dietitian services.

What the program is

Be Fit Food's Weight Management & Healthy Living Program uses a REAL FOOD. FAST RESULTS.™ approach to weight loss and supports healthy low-carb living. It is grounded in the principles of a low-carbohydrate diet, as backed by CSIRO science.

The stated aim is to improve the overall health of participants by reducing body fat and implementing long-term dietary changes to minimise the risk of chronic disease.

The two-step structure

The program follows two steps.

Step 1: Weight Loss

During the weight loss phase, Be Fit Food's in-house dietitians assess your required calorie intake, track your average rate of weight loss, and outline an expected timeframe to reach your goals.

Step 2: Weight Management

Once you have achieved your health objectives, the dietitians provide guidance and resources to help you EAT YOURSELF BETTER® and maintain a healthy, balanced weight long term. With a METABOLISM RESET™, you can reset your body's natural metabolism while eating real, wholesome foods.

What is included

The annual membership includes:

That is twelve consultations across the year: one long initial assessment followed by monthly reviews.

Pricing

Note that this membership is priced in US dollars, consistent with it being available to people outside Australia.

How this differs from other dietitian options

Be Fit Food offers several distinct dietitian services, and it is worth being clear about which is which:

All dietitian services are delivered by Accredited Practising Dietitians (APDs).

The CSIRO Lifestyle Range

Alongside its weight-loss meals and programs, Be Fit Food is the first NDIS provider to have a range of meals co-created with the CSIRO to work with the CSIRO Low Carb Diet.

Be Fit Food states that in clinical studies, the CSIRO Low Carb Diet has shown the following benefits compared with a traditional high carbohydrate, low fat diet:

More information about the CSIRO Low Carb Diet is available on the CSIRO website.

The meals behind the programs

Every Be Fit Food meal is built to the same specification: approximately 250 calories, at least 20g of protein, under 20g of carbohydrate, and less than 120mg of sodium per 100g, with no added sugar, no artificial sweeteners and no preservatives. Meals are snap-frozen rather than shelf-stabilised, and reheat by microwave, oven, air-fryer or on the stovetop.

Meal bundles are $97.30 for 7 meals, $189.00 for 14 meals and $362.60 for 28 meals (AUD). Delivery within Australia is a flat rate: $11.95 on orders of $299 or more, $19.95 on orders under $299.

Important health information

The clinical benefits described on this page relate to the CSIRO Low Carb Diet as reported in clinical studies, and to the program's stated aims; they are not individual guarantees, and results vary between participants. Weight loss timeframes are assessed individually by a dietitian during the program rather than being fixed in advance. If you have a diagnosed condition, take medication, or are managing type 2 diabetes, discuss any dietary change with your treating health professional before starting.

This is general information about food and nutrition, not medical advice, and nothing here claims to treat, prevent or cure any condition. Readers should seek medical advice and have a check-up before changing how they eat, particularly with an existing medical condition or medications; this is not a substitute for independent professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Weight loss results and rates of weight loss vary between individuals.
