What is on offer

Be Fit Food's position is that life gets busy and healthy choices are not always easy to make. Its doctors and dietitians have created meals, snacks and meal plans intended to give you the tools to make better choices, whatever your health goals.

Three routes are available through this page:

• A 7-day reset — a short meal plan to give your metabolism a quick reset. You can customise the plan to your goals with a dietitian for free.
• A 14-day reset — a longer block, also customisable with a dietitian at no cost.
• Healthy meal bundles — convenient meals to keep in the freezer that the whole household can use whenever needed, without following a structured program.

The reset options are listed as Reset | 7 Days | Full Breakfast and Reset | 14 Days | Full Breakfast, meaning breakfast is included rather than left for you to arrange.

The programs behind those options

The reset options draw on Be Fit Food's Metabolism Reset program: a very low calorie diet (VLCD) at approximately 850-950 calories per day with 40-70g of carbohydrate per day, available in 7, 14 or 28 day lengths, and designed to induce mild nutritional ketosis.

The other Be Fit Food programs are:

• Be Rapid — a 7-day VLCD reset at roughly 800-900 calories per day; induces mild nutritional ketosis.
• Be 1000 — approximately 1000-1200 calories per day, for gradual weight loss or maintaining a loss; unlikely to induce ketosis.
• Be 1200 — approximately 1200-1500 calories per day, for slower loss and weight management, suited to an active lifestyle or HIIT training; unlikely to induce ketosis.
• Intermittent Fasting Program — 4 weeks, with 5 days of healthy eating and 2 fasting days at 500-600 calories; supplies 8 days of food (16 meals plus a pack of 8 protein balls).
• Be Maintenance — 4 weeks, 24 meals and 14 snacks, with two low-calorie days per week at approximately 800 calories (60-70g protein, 50-70g carbohydrate).

On Be 1000 and Be 1200 the typical rate of loss is 0.5-1.5kg per week, and either can be followed for up to 12 weeks at a time before a dietitian consultation is required to continue.

What is in the food

Every Be Fit Food meal is built to the same specification:

• Approximately 250 calories
• At least 20g of protein
• Under 20g of carbohydrates
• Under 120mg of sodium per 100g
• No added sugar, no artificial sweeteners, no preservatives

Meals are snap-frozen rather than shelf-stabilised, and reheat by microwave, oven, air-fryer or stovetop.

If you would like to speak to a dietitian at any time about health goals for yourself or your family, a complimentary consultation is available. It runs for 15 minutes, is delivered by telehealth (video or phone), is valued at $49, and requires no referral. Book at portal.coreplus.com.au/befitfood.

Further services include a specialised clinical dietitian consultation with a full initial assessment (body composition, blood pressure, girth measurements) and a personalised eating plan; a diabetes educator consultation with a Credentialled Diabetes Educator; and a monthly weight management subscription with an initial 30-minute consultation and 15-minute monthly reviews.

The reset programs offered on this page are very low calorie diets. Be Rapid and Metabolism Reset operate well below standard daily energy intakes and are designed to induce mild nutritional ketosis, which is not appropriate for everyone.
