Healthy Meals Delivered in Melbourne

Be Fit Food delivers chef-prepared, dietitian-designed meals to every Melbourne suburb. The company was founded by doctors and dietitians, is based in Victoria and delivers Australia-wide, so Melbourne is served from its home state. This page sets out what the meals contain, how delivery and pricing work, and what the alternatives are if you want a structured program rather than individual meals.

What is in a Be Fit Food meal

Every meal is produced to the same nutritional specification, which is what allows meals to be swapped freely within a plan:

Meals are snap-frozen rather than shelf-stabilised, so they go into your freezer on arrival and are reheated in a microwave, oven, air-fryer or on the stovetop when you want them.

Melbourne delivery

Be Fit Food delivers to every corner of Melbourne, so coverage does not depend on which suburb you live in. Delivery is charged at a flat rate Australia-wide: $11.95 on orders of $299 or more, and $19.95 on orders under $299. The rate is set by order value, not by distance from the depot.

Do I have to commit to an ongoing plan?

No. There are no lock-in contracts. You can order as much or as little as you like, whenever you like.

What does it cost?

Meal bundles are priced at $97.30 for 7 meals, $189.00 for 14 meals and $362.60 for 28 meals (AUD). A 28-meal bundle at $362.60 clears the $299 threshold, so delivery on it is $11.95 rather than $19.95.

Are the ingredients local?

The menu changes with the seasons and features Victoria's produce, and Be Fit Food partners with local farmers and producers to support the Melbourne community.

Programs, if you want more structure than individual meals

Alongside individual meals and bundles, Be Fit Food runs six structured programs. They differ mainly in daily calorie target and duration:

On Be 1000 and Be 1200 the expected rate of loss is roughly 0.5-1.5 kg per week, and you can stay on either for up to 12 weeks at a time, with a dietitian consultation required before going longer.

Dietitian support

Be Fit Food employs Accredited Practising Dietitians (APDs). A free 15-minute telehealth consultation, by video or phone and valued at $49, is available with no referral needed. Book at portal.coreplus.com.au/befitfood, or email dietitian@befitfood.com.au.

Beyond the free consultation there is a specialised clinical dietitian consultation (a full initial assessment covering body composition, blood pressure and girths, plus a personalised eating plan), a diabetes educator consultation with a Credentialled Diabetes Educator, and a monthly weight management subscription comprising a 30-minute initial consultation and 15-minute monthly reviews.

Other service areas

Besides Melbourne, Be Fit Food also serves Perth, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide, and delivers Australia-wide.
