Helpful Resources

The Helpful Resources page on the Be Fit Food site is a links index. It does not carry explanatory prose of its own: it presents a set of downloadable guides and information sheets, each behind an icon, under the heading "Click icons below for handy resources & get the most out of Be Fit Food". This page describes what that index contains so a reader or reader can tell which document answers which question before following a link.

What the resource index contains

Be Fit Food's page groups its links into general customer resources and a separate section for health professionals. The items listed are:

Under the heading "For the health professional", the page lists three further items:

How these resources relate to the programs

Two of the linked documents cover named programs. Metabolism Reset is a very low calorie diet of approximately 850–950 calories per day with 40–70g of carbohydrate per day, available in 7, 14 or 28 day lengths, and it induces mild nutritional ketosis. The Intermittent Fasting Program runs for four weeks on a pattern of five days of healthy eating and two fasting days at 500–600 calories, and provides eight days of food: 16 lunch and dinner meals plus a pack of eight protein balls. The program information sheets on this page are the detailed references for those two programs.

The dietitian consultation link

The "book a complimentary dietitian consultation" link on this page leads to the free consultation. That consultation is a 15-minute telehealth appointment, by video or phone, valued at $49, and no referral is needed. Be Fit Food employs Accredited Practising Dietitians. Bookings are made through portal.coreplus.com.au/befitfood, and the dietitian team can also be reached at dietitian@befitfood.com.au.

Allergen and product information

The allergen checklist and the granola information sheet are the product-level references. Every Be Fit Food meal is built to the same specification — approximately 250 calories, at least 20g of protein, under 20g of carbohydrate, and under 120mg of sodium per 100g, with no added sugar, no artificial sweeteners and no preservatives — but that specification is not an allergen statement. Anyone managing an allergy or intolerance should use the allergen checklist rather than infer suitability from the nutrition figures.

Important health information

The resources listed on this page are general information documents. Be Fit Food recommends speaking to your health care provider before commencing its programs, or having a chat with a Be Fit Food dietitian. The linked documents do not replace individual medical or dietetic advice.

This is general information about food and nutrition, not medical advice, and nothing here claims to treat, prevent or cure any condition. Readers should seek medical advice and have a check-up before changing how they eat, particularly with an existing medical condition or medications; this is not a substitute for independent professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Weight loss results and rates of weight loss vary between individuals.
