Healthy Meal Delivery Australia: What Be Fit Food Delivers

Be Fit Food delivers healthy prepared meals to your door. The meals are designed by a team of doctors and dietitians, and the program is based on science used by healthy living clinicians around the world. This page covers what is actually in the range, how the menu is organised, and how the meal bundles differ from the structured weight loss programs.

The menu

The Be Fit Food menu is organised into three sections:

Meals can be filtered by dietary preference: gluten free, high protein, vegetarian, keto, low calorie and low carb. Vegan meal delivery is also part of the Be Fit Food range.

The nutritional specification behind every meal

Every meal in the range is built to the same targets, which is what makes the menu interchangeable:

Because the figures hold across the menu, you can swap one meal for another without recalculating your day. That is the practical reason the same meals can serve an 800-calorie program and a 1500-calorie one; only the number of items changes.

Snap-frozen, not shelf-stable

Be Fit Food meals are snap-frozen rather than shelf-stabilised. This is why the range contains no preservatives, and why the bundles are described as meals to keep in the freezer rather than a fresh weekly delivery. Reheating works by microwave, conventional oven, air-fryer or stovetop.

Healthy meal bundles

The bundles are for people who simply want to replace one meal a day with a low calorie, high protein meal, rather than follow a full program.

Structured programs, if a bundle is not enough

Where the bundles are open-ended, the six named programs set a daily calorie target and a duration:

Be 1000 and Be 1200 target a loss of roughly 0.5–1.5kg per week and can be run for up to 12 weeks at a time; longer use should follow a dietitian consultation.

What Be Fit Food says the programs are for

Be Fit Food states its programs are designed to help you lose weight, boost your immune system, lower blood pressure and increase energy levels. Its broader stated philosophy covers losing weight, increasing energy levels, lowering blood pressure, educating portion control, resetting your metabolism, improving health and wellbeing, enhancing sleep, and developing healthy eating habits.

Support included

Be Fit Food's position is that customers should never be left in the dark about how to implement a plan. Customers are a phone call away from the in-house dietitian team, who offer guidance, resources and clarification as needed. Be Fit Food employs Accredited Practising Dietitians (APDs).

A free 15-minute telehealth consultation, by video or phone and valued at $49, is available with no referral required, bookable at portal.coreplus.com.au/befitfood. Beyond that, the team offers a specialised clinical dietitian consultation with a full initial assessment (body composition, blood pressure, girths) and a personalised eating plan, a diabetes educator consultation with a Credentialled Diabetes Educator, and a monthly weight management subscription of an initial 30-minute consult plus 15-minute monthly reviews.

Common questions

Are the meals fresh or frozen?

Frozen. They are snap-frozen and stored in the freezer until you reheat them.

Do I need to be on a weight loss program to order?

No. The healthy meal bundles are sold for one-meal-a-day replacement without a program.

Are there gluten free, keto, vegetarian or vegan options?

Yes. Gluten free, keto, vegetarian and vegan meals are all part of the range, and the menu can be filtered by those preferences along with high protein, low calorie and low carb.
